In the fiscal year 2023-2024, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading electronics firm in India, performed a detailed review of its sales distribution across its different product lines. The data collected yielded the following insights:

  1. The total annual sales amounted to ₹50 crore.
  2. Sales from various segments were distributed as follows: mobile devices contributed 35% of the total sales, televisions accounted for 20%, and the rest was made up from computer peripherals and other electronics.
  3. The profit margins for each category were distinct. Mobile devices had a profit margin of 18%, televisions had 22%, and computer peripherals and other electronics combined had a profit margin of 15%.
  4. The sales volume for mobile devices was 40,000 units, televisions sold were 15,000 units, and computer peripherals and other electronics totaled 25,000 units.
  5. The average selling price per unit for televisions was ₹18,000.
