Delete My Account — CLAT Gurukul

You may delete your CLAT Gurukul account and personal data at any time. This page is provided so that account deletion is accessible without needing to install or open the mobile App, per Google Play and Apple App Store policies.

Option 1 — In the App (fastest)

1. Open the CLAT Gurukul app.
2. Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right).
3. Scroll to Privacy & Data → tap Delete My Account.
4. Confirm. Your account, attempts, doubts, AI conversations, and downloaded content will be removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email request (no app needed)

Send an email from the same email address registered with your CLAT Gurukul account to:

Subject: Delete My Account

Include in the body: your registered mobile number (with country code) and your registered email address. We will verify ownership and process the deletion within 30 days, as required by Indian data-protection law.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email, phone number, date of birth, and parent/guardian contact details
• Your exam focus, study mode, and preferences
• Your practice attempts, scores, weak-section analytics, streak data, and coin balance
• Your bookmarks, saved articles, and downloaded PDFs (the latter from your device)
• Your mentor doubt threads and Gurukul AI conversations
• Your push notification token
• Your authentication tokens (you’ll be signed out everywhere)

What we retain (and why)

• Anonymised purchase records — retained for 5 years from the transaction date, with your identity stripped out, for tax and accounting compliance under the Indian Income Tax Act and GST Act.
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics — cannot identify you individually; used to improve the product.

If you have an active paid plan

Deleting your account does not automatically trigger a refund. If you wish to request a refund first, see our Refund Policy (7 days from purchase). Once deletion is processed, the refund window closes.
