Before you ask.
Is it actually free, or free-then-upsold?
Free. No card, no coupon, no "unlock your full report for ₹499". You get the paper, the full report and the 5:00 pm class for nothing. We do it because the students who see their own diagnosis are the ones who enrol later — that is the whole business case, and we would rather say it than pretend otherwise.
I'm not in Patna. Can I still sit it?
Yes, and your rank counts the same. It is open to CLAT 2027, 2028 and 2029 aspirants anywhere in India, and you are ranked against students aiming at your own year — in the CLAT Gurukul app on Android, or the web app on iPhone. Sign in from 1:45 pm on 20 September; the paper opens at 2:00 and closes at 4:00 sharp.
What do I need for the offline sitting?
Report by 1:30 pm to any of our six centres — Ashiana–Digha, Bailey Road, Rajeev Nagar, Danapur or Saguna More in Patna, or Sikar in Rajasthan. Bring a photo ID and two blue or black ballpoints. OMR sheets and question papers are provided, and your report reaches you on the same login as the online sitters.
Which app do I need, and will it run on my phone?
On Android, the free CLAT Gurukul app — the paper runs inside it, so a dropped signal does not cost you answers. On iPhone or iPad there is nothing to install: your link opens the web app, which is the same test screen. A mid-range handset on 4G is enough, and your answers save server-side either way, so if you drop you resume where you stopped.
What will you do with my number?
Send you your login, a reminder before the paper, and your result. That is what it is for. We do not sell it, we do not pass it to anyone else, and nobody will cold-call you — and if you would rather we stopped, say so on that same WhatsApp number and we take you off the list.
Who takes the 5:00 pm discussion?
The faculty who teach those sections here all year — Priya Mishra on English, Anurag Choubey on Current Affairs & GK, Durgesh Shukla and Ayushi Tiwari on Legal Reasoning, Anurag Choubey and Amit Kumar on the two halves of Logical Reasoning — critical and analytical — and Santosh Gupta on Quantitative Techniques. Anurag Choubey also closes with the overall analysis of the paper. It runs live on the same login you sit the mock with.
